Route march 8km + field camp Day One 

1st 4km was like no kick already. don't really feel tired.
after that really killed haha. but but but the pain really came mostly
from high kneeling. hurts the knees so much!! especially when you're 
carrying almost 20kg load on your shoulders, no joke man.

what ppl say bout combat rations tasting like KNS is false man.
whatever i had was awesome, haha. well it tasted good enough.
still got chicken meat inside one LOL. 
Today more like the SMEs(this group of sergeants set the standards for army stuffs)
testing us on the lessons we were thought a week before 
in the forest when it rained so damned heavily which is still fresh in my memory.
It's like test test all the way from after lunch till now.. 5.24pm
now the officers are talking bout sentry duty at night. oh nos, i don wanna do
i wan my own sleeeeep in the basha tent.
Im only looking forward to each meal time cause you know your day's
bout to end at each point, then also sleep time!
Powder bath.. then ambush demonstration by officers.. OMG flare bomb
is like freaking dam bright. 
And cause like 7.45pm can't see any shit already, so good thing bout
field camp is prolly gonna be early lights out and later waking up timing.
sleep at 9pm, wake at 6.15pm, reasonable enough :D

Btw, the rifle is f**king zor tang. dam hard to sleep with it cause 
i was so protective of it being stunt by the officers and sergeants.
i know i want my weekends :X  kena stunt no need go home!!
then just keep waking up here and there lah, not used to sleeping outside.

Loved my day in the afternoon, met with Junny and Gwen first @ ehub.
yes it brightens my day , especially before booking in back to tekong!
then came james and we had subway for lunch, dam long nvr eat! haha.
while booking tix for the movie ' No Strings Attached ' , yulin came along finally :@
James didn't watch with us cause he had to look after his bro.
so the 4 of us caught the movie, not bad lah the show haha.
the company is better though heh. 
oh btw, im already like wearing my full uniform with that big field pack,
though its rather empty heheee.
Then they accompanied as we walked to pasir ris interchange, 
just in time for booking in at 5.30pm.

After we reached like company line alr like 6.30 so we went for dinner
after unpacking stuffs. I have a feeling my platoon has some white horse,
like some important figure's son or something, but its just a feeling
cause we nvr kena tekan as much as the other platoons, or we really
have the standard already LOL. 
Followed dinner was a briefing for the stupid field camp!! nuuuuuu!
alright sleep time. its gonna be like shit from tmr onwards.
8 KM route march to camp site with freaking heavy field pack and full armour
plus extra rations that weigh so much! 

i will miss everyone honestly !!

Omg, can't believe our 8 hours of sleep is undisturbed!
Thought will have some retarded fire drill or something of some sort!

want to sleep more like @ homeeeee, 10-14 hours is the best!
anyway after breakfast... we practically do NOTHING, just
hang around in bunk till like now... which is.. 9.30 am..
then 30 mins of bunk cleaning AGAIN?! After we just cleaned ytd -.-
Just waiting for my dumb laptop to be charged then can use already haha..
today is our book out day, book out ~ book out ~ :D
But we're not told the timeeeeeeeee T-T so maybe at night..
but since kokkiong's one is like @ 6pm, ours should be ard there heh
heng i'm from platoon one cause the people from platoon 3 and 4 finished
their range shooting like our lights out timing and their lights out 3am!

Had like a 17 mins phone call talk with junny LOL. then napped also omg.
dam boring day lah, slack day also. then some idiots go use facebook
and youtube when supposed to do e-learning while the rest were napping
then end up we are kena called down to do PT during like the noon sun!!
DAMN IT hahha, dam hot and tiring. the officer really made us dieeee.

Okay i think i never write in my notebook prolly cause i alr had some
shitzxzx to do like clean bunk to good condition, pack bag for book out.
nice.  

First time can wake up @ a time of day when the sun is like out?
0800 wake! hahaha, shiok. though its like 6 hours of sleep only.
Kokkiong in his kestrel company suey lah, lights out at 3am
then hafta wake at like 0645 lol! nothing much done today, really.
its like some slack day, clean rifle and clean bunk. then lunch, then go
bunk slack awhile before the sergeants bring us to the SAF E-mart
to shop for some army stuffs for our field camp or extra
clothes for ourselves, like not enough shorts and socks or what then buy..
I swear the food house is like just spamming chicken for every single meal
feed us chicken every single day lah! not trying to complain though :X
@ e-mart, saw aaron elton ! had a nice long chat while the queue was long
hahaha. dinner was rather late, like we're the last ones eating @ the food house
the chicken drumstick can ask for 2 or 3!! self-service ice-longan desert!!
the soup also got chicken meat, but actually taste like duck hahaha idk why
then at night got to use facebook and ebuddy for a short while :)
thats like too bad for me :( since lights out early @ 2200
BUT ALLOWING US TO SLEEP TILL 0600 :DD what a chance!
eight hours of undisturbed sleep when we usually get less than 7!
smellssss fishy, might have some stupid fire drill or stuff...

the 1.5x springroll thingy again and bread. of course i'd go for kaya or
peanut butter again hahaha.
but also dam tired cause its like 0430 in the morning we hafta wake up,
prepare to go for live firing at the range.

Now at the range alr.. slacking and stoning, bullshit lah total waste of time.
Had some 'ninja van' come, lol its just a normal van that sells
chocs, sweets, drinks.. you get the idea. like some mamashop.
the crunchies bar is like @ 1.70, cheaper than 7-11 sia. but the rest
inflated prices! pringles $3!
we might all be staying till 2-3am says the sergeant lol.. sian
don't even get a chance to use phone to call back home & sms friends :(

Woot! had first had experience @ firing a live round. 
Damn loud! and the recoil is not a joke if you don't hold it well haha!
fun experience though, <3 my rifle, cause its near perfect.
the scope is alr zero-ed(like where it aims is where it hits), not like others
plus i don't get any IA's (like bullet stuck bla bla then must do some stuffs to the gun)
But kinda stupid ah, wait like 4 hours in the morning stoning just to shoot like 5 mins.
for lunch, we had out-ration food, its like dapao-ed food from the canteen.
fried rice and veg + mashed potato + fried half chicken. heh.
Ranged test finally starts after lunch lah, could have gotten perfect score
for the day shots, but i miss one cause kanchiong never switch the
rifle from safe to firing mode. then press the trigger nth come out HAHA. sad
by the time i realised, the target already go down lmao.

At night like seriously most sian alr, want sleep but they keep
making you wake up, cause its not allowed. AND kokkiong's
company was also at the range and they WEREN'T allowed to sleep
so we have to like 'follow' example zzzz. 
bloody hell, reach back at company so late, still got night snacks first
then brief for tmr before officially allowing us to go back bunk
and shower.... sleep/lights out @ 2am ~.~

Book in day T-T  @ 1930
Met up with the guys in my bunk, one by one saw them
and the group gets bigger and bigger heh.
see them come with gf or family hahhaha..
only thing that i'd look forward to booking in is to see them again,

settled back at company, unpack stuff for checks then head
up to bunk alr, own time till lights out.
called parents then called KK to ask what he did after booking in so early
like @ 1530 lol.. cut hair + PT , and also complained how
his company sucked for being so strict & particular bout the things
you can bring it, like even strepsils and supplements cant.
total bullshit lah, wth its to prepare us for the tiring things we do each day

K really, nth much since its like book in so late, by the time reach company line
already close to 2100 and lights out 2230.

6km Route march was seriously dam tough, especially when
i suddenly caught a fever at night, heng i just spammed 2 panadol tablets
before i sleep, then woke up at 3am to take another. 
Though i had like 37.7 deg in the morning, i just keep quiet.
I don't wan see MO, plus i wanna do the progressive increment in the distance
and skarly i see MO i mus rest in sickbay then can't book out HOW!?
One thing i like bout route march near the ending cause we always sing
THIS IS HOME, TRULY, WHERE I KNOW I MUST BE ~~ on and on the song lol

After that time to wash up and bathe. Bathe also like for nothing.
Give us so little time to area clean. End up doing so many punishment.
like 40x pushup and jumping jacks. 80 crunches. nbcb.
Was so rushed that i forgot to bring lots of things home like my civilian shoes
and one of my diary pages LOL. 

Then sit boat + bus to pasir ris interchange. Alas! Civilization again!
Get to see some mjc kids walk past hahaha.

That really rounds up the day i guess, other than knowing that i caught the

the army E-learning lmao. Then 2nd round of preparation for our 2nd route march, 
this time 6km. It's progressive yup. Then after that gather as platoon to TCSS.
ya really talk cock and learn how to sing army songs lol.

The sergeants all PMS one, happy happy talk cock, after that they bu shuang only,
tekan and kpkb. Dam slack. What i know is that tmr, book out day,
must really chiong to pack up and area clean super fast, god-like speed.
if that is don't want kena tekan.

I can already smell and feel it, the SG air! LOL.

F**king shagged day ttm. Like what i said in the previous post.
IFC ( individual field craft ) in the field. 
Best thing that happened, it rained SUPER HEAVILY, ya right since when
did it ever rain in this abnormal island. Some conspiracy happening lah.
Rain so heavily for 30 mins, do nothing but just given order to SIT.
SIT then just soak up only, like upward paper chromatography, feel the water
slowly going upwards LOL. Confirm sick one lah, not fever should be flu already.
Packaged food for lunch and dinner, like just dapao-ing from the food house basically.
Got this long piece of tofu, but it's spicy haha poor leon, BBQ chicken wing and veg.
Heng we not eating combat rations, heard those really sucked.

Everyone was seriously soaked, wasn't give much time to wash up also zzz.
Field pack also dam wet best lah. Inside out.
Then they come and threaten say, if your field pack don't get cleaned by book out day,
no need book out. niceeee. 

Still got day two of IFC. Another shitty day in the forest? haha.

PS. camouflaging with leaves is funny. i got 2 large leaves on my shoulders like elephant ears.
Then when i had to hide behind a tree trunk in prone position, walao got ants spider and
all the crap sia!!! F**k!!

Best breakfast ever. Got like 1.5x the size of the spring roll @ MJC
and one quite big looking chicken pie. Both freaking crispy can.
Not an eventful day, like always. Just that it drizzled a bit after we finished lunch,
spared us from marching round and round the parade square cause the
sergeants think our marching is bullshit when its their own f**king problem.
Just want to tekan only.
Strength training while wearing full uniform with sleeves sucks you know. 
In the afternoon sun when its so freaking hot, and wearing heat trapping uniform,
now you'll feel that MJC's uniform is like no kick.

After that dinner, break, check the LBV (armour thingy that traps heat), return rifle and then should
be admin time soon i guess. <<Written @ 8.15pm.

Sian end up not much admin time. Junny already book out! Argh hahha. jealoussss.
Gah, tmr also going outfield for practice for the upcoming 5 days field camp.
